CLASS RULES

1. Act safely

2. Act respectfully towards everyone

3. Make good decisions

4. Solve your problems

Studies show that having fewer rules that encompass most all other rules is more ideal than having lots of long, lengthy rules. When a student at school breaks one of these rules, I will remind them of the rule they broke (which is phrased in a positive way, not in a negative way like:don't run, don't say bad words, don't tilt your chair backwards, etc.) Studies have shown that the adult should say the action that they want the child to show, and not to say don't ___________.
